EXCLUSIVE! Ryk Neethling is single again after splitting from fiancé before big wedding

TMG Entertainment can on Thursday confirm that Ryk Neethling has called it quits with his fiancé Sahar Biniaz in the lead up to their "big celebratory" wedding.

TMG Entertainment has reliably learnt of the split from independent sources who verified that Ryk and Sahar not only cancelled their wedding but have broken up.

It's unclear what exactly led to the break-up, but sources say it was a surprise to Sahar, who thought that she had found roots in SA.

Sahar is of Iranian descent but lived in Canada before meeting Ryk and moving to Cape Town to be with him.

Timelines of the split are also not clear, with one insider telling us it was prior to the Rio Olympics, which Ryk attended in early September. Other sources have hinted that it is more recent than that.

Although usually private about his romantic life, Ryk was uncharacteristically open about his relationship, doing media interviews with himself and Sahar.

Usually openly besotted with her man on social media, Sahar has exchanged loved-up snaps of the two them to images of herself at Mount Kilimanjaro.

One of the most recent posts on Sahar's Instagram this week was a quote reading: "Go where you are celebrated not tolerated. If they can't see the real value of you, it's time for a new start".

Although there is no clear sign of their split on social media, with both of them not hinting at any trouble, the last picture posted of them together was riding horse in Noordhoek.

Earlier this year the couple confirmed that they would be getting married towards the end of 2016.

Ryk has been unavailable for comment.
