The SABC's acting CEO James Aguma is announcing major decisions regarding the corporation.

Last week the Supreme Court of Appeal dismissed COO Hlaudi Motsoeneng's application for leave to appeal a ruling of the Cape Town High Court that his appointment was invalid and must be set aside. 

Despite the court decision, The Times reported on Thursday that the SABC board was considering asking Communication Minister Faith Muthambi to reappoint Motsoeneng as the acting chief operations officer, a move Madonsela urged the minister to reject.
