We have been apart most of our marriage, says Rolene Strauss

Former Miss World Rolene Strauss has opened up about the difficulties she and her husband have faced during their marriage.

Taking to Instagram, the beauty queen admitted that she and D'Niel have been apart for most of their marriage.

Rolene, who was studying medicine before she was crowned Miss World, returned to her studies in Bloem. Her husband has spent much of his time in Stellenbosch for work.

They got married in February this year and are expecting their first child together.

But despite the time apart, Rolene posted a really sentimental message saying that she is sure they have made the right decisions.
